What this website collects
Very little. There are no accounts or cookies on this site, and the only form is the contact form. Beyond what you choose to send, there are only the server logs described next, the visitor statistics in the following section and, on the contact pages, the anti-abuse check described under the contact form.
The hosting provider that serves the site keeps ordinary server logs: requesting IP address, browser type, page and time. They are used solely to keep the site secure and available (the controller’s legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and are deleted after a limited period.
Visitor statistics
To count page views in aggregate, the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, provided by Cloudflare, Inc. With each page view, your browser sends Cloudflare the page address, the referring page (if any), the browser type and version, how the page was opened, technical performance figures (page-load timings and memory use) and a random identifier for that single page view. Cloudflare receives the IP address as part of the connection; Cloudflare states that it does not use IP addresses or browser details to fingerprint visitors.
No cookies are set and nothing is stored on your device, so no profile is built across visits or across sites.
The purpose is to know how many visitors view which pages, in order to maintain the site. The basis is the controller’s legitimate interest in doing so (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Browsers that send the Global Privacy Control signal never load the statistics script, and blocking static.cloudflareinsights.com in the browser or with a content blocker stops it too. For anything else, including an objection, see “Your rights” below.
Cloudflare processes this data on the company’s behalf. Transfers to the United States rely on Cloudflare’s certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, with the EU standard contractual clauses in its data processing terms as a fallback.
Cloudflare keeps the individual page-view records for 7 days; after that only aggregated statistics remain, available for 6 months.
If you use the contact form
The contact form sends your name, your email address and your message to the company as an email; from then on it is handled exactly like an email (next section). The website itself keeps none of it.
To keep automated abuse out, the contact page runs a check from a security provider. It loads on that page only and looks at technical signals from your browser and connection, including the IP address, solely to tell a person from automated traffic. To limit repeated messages, the website also keeps a counter per connection that holds only a one-way hash of the IP address, expires within two hours and is then deleted automatically. The basis is the controller’s legitimate interest in keeping the form usable and free of abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The address you give then receives one automatic confirmation that the message arrived. It holds only fixed text from the company, never anything typed into the form. So that no address receives more than one a day, the website keeps a one-way hash of the address, which expires after 24 hours and is then deleted automatically. The basis is the same legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
If you send an email
An email to the company contains your address, your name if you sign it, and what you wrote. It is used to reply and to keep the thread. The basis is the controller’s legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, if an enquiry concerns an agreement, the steps that precede it (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Correspondence is kept while the matter is open and for a reasonable time after, then deleted.
Email and hosting providers act as processors for the company. If one of them handles data outside the European Economic Area, the safeguards the GDPR allows apply, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
